Hi There
I'm a poet and freelance writer. I write about travel, education, books, and the outdoors. My poetry focuses on the natural world, as a way to understand our multifaceted existence.
My Story
Formally I am an educator, although writing is my passion, poetry my love. I remember writing my first poem on purple heart paper with a green felt tip pen, and journaled my way through college. All that to say is writing has always been a part of who I am. Besides writing I enjoy running, traveling, and reading. I hold a B.A. from Whitworth University, and was a Peace Corps Volunteer in the Dominican Republic. Thank you for visiting. I hope you find something that speaks to you.
